Recently, Joe Rogan shed light on why Kamala Harris did not appear on his podcast, especially with the 2024 election approaching. While Rogan successfully hosted President Donald Trump for a much-anticipated episode in October, Harris’s absence raised eyebrows.
During his dialogue with Trump, Rogan expressed a desire to have a conversation with Harris, who was serving as vice president at the time. However, attempts to coordinate with Harris’s team did not result in her joining the Joe Rogan Experience, a podcast that boasts an impressive 14.5 million followers on Spotify.
In a recent episode featuring guest Dan Richards, Rogan explained that scheduling conflicts were a significant factor in Harris’s non-appearance. He had already committed to a live UFC podcast on the same day proposed for the interview, which caused the scheduling dilemma.
Rogan also addressed certain allegations made in a recently published book, which claimed he had made specific demands regarding the podcast. He clarified that these claims were unfounded, stating that Harris’s team never confirmed her participation in the show, leading to some confusion about the scheduling of various guests.
Although the chance to interview Harris did not materialize, Rogan remains dedicated to fostering meaningful discussions on his podcast. While he may have missed out on this particular interview, he continues to host an array of guests and cover a wide range of topics on his hugely popular platform.
